Hello,

I am using Windows Terminal Services Client (from a beta 2000 server CD) to
connect and use remote desktop on my XP machine from WFW.

Is there a newer client (than version 5.00 build 2195), and where can I
download it?

On second glance, that link is for clients Win95 and above.

I'm looking for the Windows for Workgroups 16-bit client (WFW 3.10 or
WFW3.11 terminal services client - there is not remote desktop client for
16-bit as far as I am aware).

Thanks.

Aah, sorry. Missed the WFW bit (it's been a while..:)
No, Microsoft doesn't have a 16-bit TS client. The only DOS rdp
client that I know of is available from
http://www.terminal-services.net/

Are you sure? I recall playing with TS client running on WFW
connected to Windows 2000 advance server.

I have both Windows 2000 advance server and windows NT 3.51 TS
addition distribution. I have never played with the NT 3.51 TS.

I have a faint memory there is a directory created on Windows 2000 called
"TSCLIENT" with terminal server clients for windows 3.x (16 bit), Windows 9x
(32 bit) and Windows NT (32 bit).

Yes, you are correct, there is a TSCLIENT directory.

As I stated in my original post, I have a BETA 2000 server CD and the
version of the TSCLIENT for 16-bit Windows that I am currently using is
version 5.00 build 2195.

I was asking if anyone can point me to a download of the release, or most
current version, given that mine was from a BETA cd, and given that I can't
find a download for any 16-bit TS client on Microsoft.

Thanks
